Ans:- A noun or pronoun that stands for either male or female is called gender.

Ex:- boy, girl, lion, lioness etc.

Ans:- A noun or pronoun that stands for a male is called masculine gender.

5- What is common gender?

6- What is neuter gender?

Formation of feminine gender

1- we can make feminine gender by adding -ss to the masculine gender.

Note:- If the last alphabet of a word is consonant than we add -ess to make feminine gender
